The Schaefer Family established a Charitable LLC in 2015 and acquired the 75 acre land parcel on Carters Creek Pike located 2 miles from downtown Franklin. Camwood Farm is owned and operated by the Schaefer Family and has partnered with professional trainer, Christoph Schroeder, to create a premier hunter/jumper facility.

Camwood Farm Goals

  • Provide the highest standard of equine care and riding lesson program
  • Deliver a world class equestrian facility maintained with the highest standard in cleanliness and beauty
  • Give back to our community with donations to 501(c)(3) charities

Our Leadership Team

Louise “Weezie” Graves  – Professional Head Trainer
Weezie has over 15 years’ experience riding and showing hunters and jumpers.  She has achieved distinguished accolades such as USEF Prix des States 2014 Team Gold and 2015 Team Bronze as well as 2015 FEI North American Junior & Young Rider Championships (NAJYRC).  Weezie also has numerous top placings and wins in Hunters and Jumpers including the Pennsylvania National Horse Show, Washington International, Devon Capital Challenge, The National Horse Show, Junior Hunter Finals and Hunter Derby Finals.

Eduardo Gutierrez – Managing Groom
Eduardo has over 25 years’ experience in the hunter/jumper industry and 15 years as Managing Groom.  He has worked for barns with as many as 300 horses and 135 stalled horses.  Eduardo has been a show groom for top Junior riders competing in indoor finals and is also widely known for his body clipping artistry.  He also enjoys riding and has ridden horses as a hobby for over 20 years.

Camille Schaefer – Owner
Camille has worked in business over 15 years’ and uses that knowledge and experience to run Camwood’s financials and operations.  Additionally, she grew-up on a small horse farm in Ohio and has 18 years’ equestrian experience in western and hunter/jumper disciplines.  Certification:  Young Horse Trainer, 2016
